The first person rose and said, "Pat, the last election was decided by voters who listed 'moral values' as their primary concern. What do you think this means for the country [...]?"

Of course, the actual statistics were almost exactly the same as in the previous 2 elections. Yes, that's right, the same percentage of people, more or less, also said they voted primarily due to moral values when they reelected clinton.

It's a more-or-less meaningless fact that liberals have warped around to make it look like the conservatives are becoming totally dominant, and that our country is headed towards doom if we continue on our current path. This all is, of course, completely bogus. After all, where were they making these arguments during after the clinton election, hmmmm?? I didn't see too many then...

The conservatives have power and as a direct result the country and the world are indeed in great trouble. This was not the case with Clinton. To take only one example, Clinton had figured out how to remove the entire $5 trillion debt (!) - but as soon as Bush got going it shot up and it is nearly $8 trillion now and climbing. Bush's work on global warming has worsened the problem or ignored it. etc etc, just read the news. While the conservatives have power, the situation is likely to get worse.
